When Zumiez introduced a localized inventory filter to their site in 2020, I had the opportunity to create the evergreen visual identity, the site experience, and a system of social media and email marketing assets.
The name needed to be short, punchy, and direct. Get it Now conveys immediacy to a target market largely made up of skaters who may need replacement parts or hardware the same day.
The typeface of the logo itself was limited to Arial, but it still needed to grab attention. A loud highlighter yellow and energetic supporting typography brought a cohesive look and feel to the identity, while also creating room to inject some classic Zumiez irreverence like the toilet paper-themed refresh during the 2020 holiday season.
